We are pleased to announce the addition of the Regression Manager (RM) to our development toolkit. RM is a stand-alone .Net application for regression testing of reports from all of our product platforms. The tool is very user-friendly to work with and will identify all deviations in the output including spacing, font, alignment, number and text content, width and height.
A significant design feature has been added to the tool to specifically improve testing productivity. Regression test result notification will occur in “real-time” as opposed to result notification only at the end of the entire batch run. This means that if a batch run of 200 cases is being executed, notification of compliance or deviation in reporting results is posted as each case is processed. This will substantially improve the time-efficiency of addressing report deviations during the regression test cycle.
